Baby boy ‘worth £315million’ becomes heir to estate with 40 bed mansion

The birth of the Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's baby Lilibet across the pond has made headlines across the world – but another privileged baby has just been born a bit closer to home.

A baby boy named Henry was recently born in Gloucestershire. The catch? He's worth £315million.

Baby Henry is already set to inherit both his father's and grandfather's titles, reports GloucestershireLive.

Back in the day, both men were dubbed the most eligible bachelors in the country.

Both the Duke of Beaufort, Harry ‘Bunter’ Worcester, and his son Bobby, Marquess of Worcester, are now married so the title has fallen vacant.

Now it looks like it will pass on to little Henry who, as he is first-born son of a first-born son.

It means the tot will eventually inherit the Duke of Beaufort title, the Badminton estate and a £315m fortune.

News that Bobby and wife Lucy Yorke-Long have had a baby was broken by the Daily Mail gossip columnist Richard Eden, who also had a snap of the newborn.

Baby Henry looked very laid-back as he lay in his cot, with his hands behind his back, and it will probably be the last time he will be pictured in a white vest.

The 69-year-old Duke of Beaufort, a one time rocker, who now lives at the family's Cotswold seat said: "‘I am absolutely delighted.

"It is with great pride that I have become a grandfather for the first time."

Bobby and Lucy held their wedding at the family's 40-bed, Gloucestershire mansion on the 52,000-acre Gloucestershire estate in September last year.

Afterwards, the happy couple went riding into the sunset, leaving their guests waving from outside Badminton House in Gloucestershire.

Only 40 family and friends could attend the celebrations at the country estate where the likes of Princes Charles, William and Harry play polo.

The couple met through mutual friends when they were seated next to each other at a dinner party and both families will no doubt be delighted by the baby news.

The recently married Duke said he was “absolutely delighted” when the pair got engaged and Bobby's mother, the Duke's ex-wife, Tracy, said: “My kids and I are thrilled to have Lucy as part of our family – we all adore her.

"She is sunny, intelligent and thoughtful – a joy to be with. Lucky Bobby.”
