Christian missionary who gave girl, 4, an STD called ‘great man’ as he’s jailed

A sick Christian missionary has been thrown in jail after being found guilty of second-degree sexual abuse, incest and child endangerment.

And shockingly, during 31-year-old Jordan Webb's trial, it emerged that he gave a four-year-old child an STD.

He will now spend at least 17.5 years in prison, and will register as a sex offender for life – although he still maintains his innocence, despite evidence to show that he and the child both tested positive for gonorrhoea in 2012.

He was a minister at the Harvest Baptist Church in Des Moine, Iowa.

Sickeningly, in an attempt to defend himself, Webb said during last week's hearing: “I don't think there is any human being on Earth who loves their children.”

Part of his defence was to claim that the child who got an STD from him got it in a “bathtub”.

Prosecutor Bailey Taylor saw right through that, and said: “If this is so possible, why aren't we seeing it more?

“There is absolutely nothing reasonable about getting gonorrhoea from a bathtub.

“That's not a thing, because if it was, there'd be a lot more cases of gonorrhoea.

“It wouldn't be a sexually transmitted disease, but it is.”

However, during the hearing last week, a close colleague of the disgraced Webb backed the man praised him.

Current Harvest Baptist Church pastor said, in a letter to the court last year, that Webb was a “great citizen” and a “great man in the community”.

He also said that the bloke was not a danger to the community or a flight risk in any way.

After the hearing Webster County Attorney Bailey Taylor said: “We are pleased with the outcome and that the jury provided justice in this matter.”

Webb has made no comment since the being jailed on Friday (June 16).
