Swords and bottles were used as weapons in a massive 40-man fight broken up by police on Sunday morning.
Officers responding to the carnage in Southall, West London chased down two sword-wielding thugs before handcuffing them for violent disorder and affray.
Ealing Police branch of the London Met reported the shocking incident on Twitter, My London reports.
Together with a picture of a police BMW, they wrote: "Team 2 responded to a large fight this morning in @Southall involving up to 40 males fighting with swords and bottles.
"Two males were chased into St Johns Road and identified as having carried swords during the fight.
"They were arrested for Violent Disorder and Affray."
Despite the officer's efforts in successfully bringing two suspects into custody, not all members of the public were impressed that 38 others escaped.
One Twitter user commented: "Up to 40 and you got 2."
Which was responded to by someone else fuming: "And they’ll both get community service."
Another wrote: "Swords…where is the f****** law and order for Christ's sake."
"I am so glad I left London, it is eating itself. London has fallen. She was a great city," someone added.
The use of swords in a giant brawl brought back a touch of nostalgia for one of Ealing Police's followers, who joked: "Sounds just like the good old days."
On Saturday Ealing Police shared footage of officers raiding a shisha bar packed with nearly 30 people despite coronavirus laws forcing shut all restaurants, bars and cafes.
The video was captioned: "The owner of this shisha bar in #Southall has been issued a fine after 29 people were found inside. We are responding quickly to these reckless Covid-19 breaches and will issue fines to those who are putting lives at risk."
