A drug-mule raver escaped jail after she was busted at a major electronic dance festival with almost 200 ecstasy pills hidden – in her vagina.
Chester Crown Court heard that cops pounced on Keira Wilson at the entrance of Creamfields festival when a sniffer dog recognised she was carrying an illegal substance.
Rosemary Proctor, prosecuting, said the 25-year-old told officers that there were pills concealed in her vagina but said she didn’t know anything about their type or quantity.
Following a search, they found a "large pouch" containing 192 pills of MDMA, known as ecstasy, which would have a total value inside the festival of £1,922.
Officers also seized a mobile phone that showed text conversations between August 25 and 26 with another person, where they discussed obtaining tickets for the festival.
The texts also show that she would take the 'gear' inside for a dealer, effectively acting as a courier and smuggling the drugs inside to give to the third party.
Matthew Hopkins, defending, said his client had pleaded guilty at the first opportunity, adding that she didn’t have any previous convictions.

But during his sentencing remarks Recorder Simon Parrington told Wilson: “The site is plastered with notices and bins there to dispose of drugs, yet you continued on, and like so many you were caught.
“What you did was utterly stupid, and I hope you have learnt a sharp lesson.”
Wilson was sentenced to two years in prison, suspended for 18 months.
She must also undertake 150 hours of unpaid work and pay £468 covering court costs and a statutory victim surcharge.
