Dad used moose antler to kill sex offender he believed had stalked his toddler
A dad handed himself into cops after allegedly using a moose antler to kill a sex offender he believed had stalked his toddler.
Levi Axtell, from Minnesota, US, walked into a police station covered in blood and demanded to be arrested, according to reports.
The 27-year-old was said to have dropped to his knees before admitting he fatally beat Lawrence V. Scully, 77, with a shovel.

He later told officers he “finished” the job with the antler, the New York Post reported.
Scully had been convicted of molesting a six-year-old girl in 1979 and was said to have had a "long history of conflict" with Axtell.
A witness who heard screaming called 911 after seeing someone “smash” a car in Scully’s drive and run into the older man’s home, police said.
The Cook County Sheriff’s Office said they found Scully dead shortly afterwards.
Axtell was in court on Friday on a second-degree murder charge. He is currently being held on a $1million (£830k) bond and is next due to appear on April 10.
Cook County Sheriff Pat Eliasen told Fox News Digital the brutal killing was "quite a shocker" for the small community of Grand Marais, which has a population of about 1,340.
