Sickening footage shows two schoolchildren fighting in a road while other pupils watch on in horror.

In the clip, recorded within half a mile of Riddlesdown School in Purley, south London, one of the boys jabs repeatedly at the other with an object alleged to be scissors, MyLondon reports.

The pair appear to be in school uniform and a small crowd watches on, screaming in terror.

One girl shouts: "No! Oh my god! Oh my god! Calm down!"

Towards the end of the video, recorded on Friday, April 30, the two boys break off the fight and the gathered onlookers appear to calm down.

A concerned parent sent MyLondon a video of the two young boys, still, in their uniform, fighting, and one child is said to have had a pair of scissors.
