A nightmare theme park ride crash that left children with spinal injuries saw the ride climb to its peak before plummeting down to the ground.
The incident happened in Sao Paolo, Brazil, leaving two children and a mother with injuries to their spinal columns.
Footage of the incident shows the spaceship ride making its way up to the top of the column it is centred around before it slips down back to the ground at a concerningly high speed.

In the video, a child is strapped in as the ride makes its way up to the top of the column. The mother can also be seen.=
The child, 12, and the mother, 25, have both now been found to have suffered spinal injuries from the fall.
A four-year-old child has now also been found to have been injured in the crash – they too are understood to have suffered spinal injuries.
The boy remains in hospital, local sources report, with doctors weighing up whether he needs surgery, according to the Mirror.
Medical professionals were called to the scene in Avenida Jaime de Castro, Brazil and the theme park is understood to have shut down shortly after the incident.
The smaller child is understood to have complained of pain around his back and front of his torso, in what are believed to be abdominal and spinal injuries.
He has now been released from hospital.
It is understood the theme park has been forced to stay shuttered while engineers work to establish what caused the crash.
In response, assessments are set to be carried out on all rides in the park.
