The President-elect published a list on his official Twitter account and believes the actions will “change life in America for the better”. It comes as Mr Biden introduced his new health team which have been assembled to help the future US President deal with America’s coronavirus crisis.
Posting on Twitter, Mr Biden said: “Today, I’m announcing key COVID-19 priorities for the first 100 days of my administration: Everyone wears a mask – 100 million vaccinations – Reopen the majority of schools.
“With these steps, we can change the course of the disease and change life in America for the better.”
Some Twitter users blasted Mr Biden for his proposed mask mandate, with some claiming it is too similar to President Trump’s current coronavirus strategy.
One user said: “Enforcing a mask, this sounds very familiar to Trump’s plan.”

While another commented: “So, to reopen schools, are you vaccinating teachers? Parents of kids? I thought it was just EMT, hospital workers, police and elderly first.”
A third wrote: “100 days of masks is insane, considering that every location around the globe that has had mask mandates has experienced skyrocketing cases.”
However, other social media users praised Mr Biden for his plans to tackle the pandemic which has hit the US hard.
One user commented: “Mask up, folks! It’s not partisan – it’s patriotism.”
Another wrote: “Yay finally we have a legit president who wants to make a difference!”
Speaking at a press briefing on Tuesday in Wilmington, Delaware, the President-elect admitted he would not end the coronavirus outbreak in his first few months in office.
He said: “My first 100 days won’t end the COVID-19 virus. I can’t promise that.
“But we did not get into this mess quickly. We’re not going to get out of it quickly. It’s going to take some time.”

While introducing his health team, he urged Americans to “mask up for 100 days”.
Mr Biden said: “Getting children back to school will be a national priority in the first 100 days.”
He added: “In 100 days we can change the course of the disease and change life in America for the better.
“Whatever your politics or point of view, mask up for 100 days.”
The US has been hit the worst by the coronavirus compared to any other country in the world according to the available data.
The Johns Hopkins University tracker shows that America has a tally of coronavirus related deaths reaching 286,117.
The country has also recorded more than 15 million COVID-19 cases so far in the pandemic.
On Tuesday, US regulators confirmed the Pfizer/BioNTech coronavirus vaccine is 95 percent effective which will pave the way for the jab to be approved for emergency use in America.
On Thursday, the Food and Drug Administration is set to meet to make a formal decision on whether the vaccine can be approved.
During a summit at the White House on Tuesday, President Donald Trump hailed the expected approval of the jab.
