A relative of Meghan Markle said they “won’t ever talk again” and claimed she’s in a “different social class”.
The Duchess of Sussex has a fraught relationship with certain family members.
She and dad Thomas Markle have not spoken for four years, and her half-sister Samantha Markle has repeatedly lashed out at the royal.
Now, another anonymous relative has discussed their strained relationship with the duchess.
They told Fox News: “We're clearly in different social classes and we won't ever talk again."
The relative added: “Real quality family is what's important to me. You shouldn't have to be someone you're not, or a certain class to be accepted and loved."
During her recent interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan discussed her strained relationship with her dad, saying “I grieve a lot”.
She said she found it difficult to describe his actions, adding: “I genuinely can’t imagine doing anything to intentionally cause pain to my child.”
Thomas staged photos with the paparazzi ahead of Meghan’s wedding to Harry and leaked part of a letter she had sent after the ceremony.
The Duchess of Sussex thenwon a court case against Associated Newspapers for publishing it, citing breach of copyright and misuse of her private information.

However, the relative claimed that Meghan’s estrangement from her family is “her choice”.
The source added: “I’m not chasing after someone that doesn't want to talk to me.
“I have my own family and we couldn't be happier sharing the love that we have. So in other words, I couldn't care less.”

Her dad afterwards told The Sun: “I wish them all my love and the best of luck.”
However, he also hinted he has more "dirty laundry" to air in an explosive trailer for an upcoming TV special for 60 Minutes Australia.
Thomas said he is desperate to rekindle a relationship with Meghan and hopes the arrival of baby Lilibet will prove to be a catalyst for a reunion.

He said: “If I had done something terribly wrong, that would be fine, but I haven't. I just want an answer.”
He adds: "I'd love to talk to her. I've made mistakes. I apologised a hundred times for it.
"I'll be very disappointed that I don't get to hold my granddaughter.”
