Meghan sent ‘thank you’ cards with candid photo for fans wishing happy birthday

Meghan Markle thanked fans for their well wishes and happy birthday messages with a collection of candid photos and "thank you" cards.

Meghan, who celebrates her 41st birthday on August 4, had sent out a number of letters to Royal Family fans during her early years as a working member of The Firm.

Kensington Palace shared a number of sweet thank you notes on behalf of the Duchess of Sussex to commemorate her 37th birthday in 2018, including a candid snap of Markle on a trip to Ireland.

The snapshot was paired with a thank you note in similar fashion to those sent out when Prince Harry and Meghan tied the not at their royal wedding.

A candid photograph snapped by Gerry Mooney showed Meghan sharing a moment with fans, laughing as she approached a collection of Royal Family fans.

The back of the postcard sent out to those wishing the Duchess of Sussex a happy birthday read: "The Duchess of Sussex is so touched you took the trouble to write as you did on the occasion of her 37th birthday.

"It really was most thoughtful of you and Her Royal Highness sends you her heartfelt thanks and best wishes."

The letter inside was written up on official Kensington Palace stationary.

A gold seal featuring the Queen was also included in the package sent out to Royal Family fans who had wished the Duchess of Sussex a happy birthday at the time.

Reports at the time from People say that Meghan spent her birthday with Duke of Sussex, where the two celebrated the wedding of Harry's old family friends.

Attending the wedding of Charlie van Straubenzee to Daisy Jenks, the royal couple were said to have arrived at the church separately.

The pair were later spotted holding hands together as other close pals helped the groom with arrangements for his special day.
