Mum and 3 kids burned alive by rugby player Rowan Baxter buried in single coffin

Hannah Clarke and her three young children were buried in a single coffin as hundreds gathered to pay their respects at their funeral following their tragic deaths at the hands of rugby player Rowan Baxter.

The mum and little Aaliyah, six, Laianah, four, and Trey, three, shared the single white coffin during their funeral in Brisbane, earlier today.

Plaques dedicated to Hannah and her children and butterflies were seen on the side of the casket as heartbreaking eulogies were delivered by family members.

Hannah’s brother Nat and her best pals Lou Farmer and Nikki Brookes gave powerful tributes where the slain victims were called “three peas from the same pod”.

Ms Brookes fought back the tears as she paid her respects to her beloved friend.

She added: “Han, I’m not sure who I am without you guys.

“You had my back and I would have laid down my life for you. I’m so, so sorry I couldn’t protect you.”

Mr Clark then described his sister as “one of the greatest mums to walk the earth”.

He continued: “I’ve loved you from the day I was born. We weren’t brother and sister, we were best friends.”

The funeral took place after Hannah’s estranged husband and failed rugby player Rowan Baxter doused the family in petrol before setting them alight.
