Police break up 50-person sex orgy after busting Covid rule-breaking brothel

A night of new year's eve naughtiness ended in disaster after police broke up a 50-person orgy near Barcelona.

Police were alerted to the supersized sex party after two attendees accidentally knocked on a neighbour's door, according to the newspaper El Mundo.

Under Spanish restrictions in place on new year's eve, only groups of up to 10 people were allowed to meet indoors. There was also a curfew between 1 am to 6 am.

The love-in was found in LIica d'Amunt, near the Catalonia capital, where between 50 and 70 people were identified and are now facing fines.

It is understood people were bonking in the house's upstairs rooms when the police entered the building.

It has been reported that the party was held by Americans who had hired sex workers as part of their celebrations to usher in the new year.

The homeowner is thought to be aware of the nature of the gathering that took place.

News of the orgy comes as the Omicron variant of Covid-19 sweeps across Europe with record case numbers being reported in many countries including the UK.

However, the sex session isn't the first of its kind to be broken up in Spain. In February police raided a brothel to find 19 Frenchmen that had crossed the border in search of sex.

They were amongst 39 punters and 21 sex workers at a hotel just 20 miles across the French border in Capmany.

No arrests were made but the men were identified and warned heavy fines would be sent to their home addresses.

The women were also questioned in connection to a human trafficking investigation.

The hotel had a licence to rent rooms by the hour, but police said the operation to raid it was organised after they had found out it had been opening discreetly so as not to attract attention.

Knives and drugs were also located during the raid.

In the same week, french police dispersed a 100-person orgy in Paris for breaching Covid restrictions.
