Pornhub couple who filmed X-rated video at holy site charged with blasphemy
A couple who filmed themselves having sex at an ancient temple and posted the clip on Pornhub have been charged with blasphemy.
The pair, both 23 and from Italy, uploaded their romp at a Buddhist temple in Bagan, Burma, to the adult website.
But authorities in Burma have reacted with fury after the clip went viral.
There was social media outcry in the socially conservative country following the posting of the video, filmed in one of the world's holiest sites for Buddhists.
Authorities said they would charge them under the nation's blasphemy laws, which would carry a combined maximum sentence of three years in prison if convicted.
