A group of cruel Rangers fans have been condemned for chanting they hope the Pope "f***ing dies" after he fell ill following the outbreak of the coronavirus .
The Gers group were celebrating their club's 1-0 with over Sporting Braga on Wednesday that took them through to the last-16 of the Europa League .
But after the game, footage surfaced of a small group of fans singing "the Pope has got corona(virus), the Pope has got corona, the Pope has got corona….I hope he f***ing dies" to the tune of For He's a Jolly Good Fellow.
It comes after Pope Francis cancelled official audiences after falling ill amid the outbreak, although it is not yet known what he is suffering from.
The footage sparked a furious response.

Dave Scott, director of Scotland's leading anti-sectarianism charity, told the Scottish Sun: "What dismal, bigoted, moronic behaviour.
"These people are utterly detached from the 21st century and an embarrassment to the club they claim to be supporting."
The coronavirus is continuing to cause widespread panic around the world, with the death toll now more than 2,800 and more than 83,000 cases.
