Sick neo-Nazi group held party and ate swastika cake for Hitler’s birthday

Staff at a restaurant were left shocked after a group of neo-Nazis celebrated Adolf Hitler's 133rd birthday with a group meal – even giving Nazi salutes to commemorate the occasion on April 20.

The horrendous event took place at the HoF Downtown restaurant in Melbourne, Australia.

The group brought a cake, with a swastika and a picture of the murderous despot on it, too.

As soon as the staff knew what was happening, they called the police but it was too late as the group had paid for their meal and were already leaving.

Speaking to local news, the chairman of the Anti-Defamation Commission Dvir Abramovich said: “No one can sleep easy knowing that such home-grown extremists are amongst us and are trying to recruit young, disaffected young men to their twisted cause.

“I think that Hitler, from that special place reserved in hell for monsters like him, is probably smiling.”

The restaurant groups' managing director Marcel Moodley took to social media to talk about the incident.

Posting on Facebook, he claimed that the group hid the cake and photo from staff, and that the money the restaurant took from the group's bill will be donated to a local charity.

The statement said: “The evening went smoothly until closer to the end of the evening when the management team were made aware that the group had displayed small pictures and artefacts of Adolf Hitler on the table.

“Management had subsequently been made aware that the group were celebrating Adolf Hitler's birthday.

“The manager on duty proceeded to call the local police and request assistance and advice on how to deal with the situation.

“Given the number of people attending, they wanted to avoid any confrontation in a public setting. “After speaking to the police and going to approach the group they had already paid the bill and were making their way out of the restaurant so no conversation was had with them.

“Several days later the management team were made aware that a photo was taken of the group with the Adolf Hitler salute . . . when the table was unattended by our wait staff.

“We at the HOF group condemn any form of racism, Nazism or white supremacy in any format (and) we are also deeply horrified and saddened that this exists in modern day in a beautiful free country we all get to call home.”
