After receiving medical advice from UK experts, she decided to go to Istanbul for the operation. They suggested that the dree-size 24, diabetic, ought to lose some weight. Following their advice, she booked her flight, forgetting the enormous risks involved.
In an attempt to discover her ideal figure, she worked tirelessly to raise the money on GoFundMe, so she could have the major surgery, which removed 85% of her stomach.
However, she is now enduring a tough battle with sepsis in hospital, and hasn't eaten solid food since November. It is feared that this could trigger a further infection in her stomach. Consequently, she's relying on a feeding tube.
